Over the past 18 months there has been a particular focus on the Cloud in response to partner Intapp’s own Cloud-first shift. First up for the Pinnacle team was migrating time recording from Elite 3E to Intapp’s Time 8 in the Cloud.
This project enabled the testing of Intapp’s new Common Data Store (CDS), and enhanced Integrate REST APIs; and saw the roll-out of mobile time recording to all staff, with seamless integration and flawless interaction with the on-premises Elite 3E-based finance system.
Comments Pinnacle’s Christopher Young: “We know that there will be a need for this mix of on and off-premises set up from our Elite and Intapp clients as it is not possible or desirable to transition all of the applications in a big bang to the Cloud. So we wanted to anticipate things and ensure we could deliver a proven, robust and authoritative answer when they came and asked ‘How do we take this or that product into the Cloud?”
A similar rationale has encouraged the more recent deployment of Intapp OnePlace (fka DealCloud); the successful migration of Intapp Flow to the Cloud; and a current project around Intapp Pricing. Continues Christopher: “These Cloud applications are new to us and the legal market, so getting them up and running in our own 80-strong organisation positions us extremely well when it comes to implementing and optimising the same for our clients.”
Pinnacle is sharing its accumulated experience and insight around Intapp Cloud – the considerations, challenges, timescales, costs and benefits – in a ‘lessons learned’ style free workshop. The half-day events can be organised for any individual firm either already committed to, or simply just considering, a move to the Cloud, with agendas and content designed to suit.
